Hi, welcome to my webpage!

Prior to joining IIML, I spent a year in the Himalayas as an Assistant Professor at the School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences (SMSS), IIT Mandi. I was a postdoc researcher at the Department of Statistics and Data Science at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, working with Professor CHAN, Ping Shing. I also spent a year as a postdoctoral fellow at the Indian Statistical Institute Delhi, India.

I'm a statistician and work in the interface of probability and statistics. My present research is centered on statistical decision theory, statistical estimation, survival analysis, computational statistics, Bayesian techniques, and optimization. In particular, I am focusing on: a) developing new statistical methodologies for various data types, particularly censored and high-dimensional datasets, b) improving existing statistical approaches to be more consistent and efficient, and c) investigating the usefulness of such findings in various statistical machine learning applications.
